William James Turner-Nelson was born July 12, 2007, to mother Ashley Turner Nelson and father James Preston Nelson.
William (Baby Will) was taken away too early, Saturday, April 12, 2025, from the many people who enjoyed a bright young man who was full of life. Will loved outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents Preston and Margaret Nelson; paternal grandmother, Melissa Hall; maternal grandparents, David Turner and Mitchell Niday.
Left to cherish Will’s memory are his parents, James and Ashley Nelson; his brothers, Joe, Luke, Jayden, and Ryley bug; grandparents, David Marshall and Bonnie Roberts, James Alvin McBride; special family, Lamar and Tina Lawson, Jessie, LJ, Key, Kloey, and Justin Cardwell, extended family, friends and Classmates of 2025 North Stokes High School,.
Will wrote, “I made it from playing basketball, bringing a knife to school, to not doing any work in middle school, to now… (senior Class of 2025 North Stokes High School). Thank y’all for everything, I love y’all.”
