Cynthia Reynolds “Susie” McLemore, 74, of Madison went to be with the Lord Saturday April 12, 2025 at her home.
A native of Danville, VA she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred Whitley Reynolds and had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. She was a former employee of Procter and Gamble Co. and enjoyed doing many types of crafts including painting, stained glass and crocheting. She had a green thumb and loved to be in the garden growing plants she had a passion for fishing particularly fly fishing. She was very athletic in her younger years when she played softball with the Procter and Gamble softball team. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Ronnie Dale Reynolds and a grandson: Christopher Colton Hardy.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years: Jeff McLemore of the home, three sons: Rodney Hardy ((Gena) and Randall Hardy (Darlene) both of Madison, and Christopher “Chris” Hardy (Thresa) of Wilmington, her sister: Dottie Moorefield (Jim) of Milton, grandchildren: Steven Alderin (Kayla), Destiny Weise (Nolan), Cameron Hardy (Sydney), Madeline Hardy, Macey Hardy, Madison Hardy, Gracelyn Hardy, Jared Brown, Isaac Brown, Kenleigh Brown, David Isley, great grandchildren: Carter Alderin, and Whitaker Hardy.
