Obituary: WANDA KAY PASCHAL POINDEXTER

Wanda Kay Paschal Poindexter, 62, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her home.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 6, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Cox officiating. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at the residence, 2802 Ashland Road, Ruffin.
Kay was born in Rockingham County to the late Delton Boyd Paschal and Alice Wells Paschal. She fought a long courageous battle with cancer the past 22 years.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Lee Poindexter; daughter, Crystal Leigh Poindexter; grandson, Austin McMichael; sister, Vickie Everette (Mark) and brother, Gil Paschal (Kimm); along with several nieces and nephews.
