Obituary: THOMAS DILLARD JACOBS WEBB

Thomas Dillard Jacobs Webb, 77, of Mayodan, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Ancora Compassionate Care.

He was born in Guilford County, to the late Jessie Alton Webb and Mary Nell Jacobs. Thomas was a longtime member (21 years) of Mayodan Methodist Church. He was very educated, obtaining two associate and one bachelor’s degree from Rockingham Community College, Guilford Technical Community College, and Greensboro College. He retired from the City of Greensboro where he worked for the water plant.

Those left surviving are his children, Matthew Copeland Webb of Atlanta, GA and Andrea Gorman and husband Chris of Carrollton, TX; his brother, Anderson “Andy” Green Webb and wife Carolyn; sister, Frances Brown and husband Terry; and two grandchildren, Hollis Webb and Copeland Gorman.

An 11:00 a.m. memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Mayodan Methodist Church with Rev. Wendy Bishop-Reddick officiating. The family will receive friends before the service, beginning at 10:15 a.m.
