Obituary: SAMUEL GWYNN, JR

Mr. Samuel Allen Gwynn, Jr., age 77, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Cypress Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 3 p.m. from the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 420 Mizpah Church Road, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Gregory H. Lee will preside and Pastor Paul N. Milton, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel UMC Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, 276 Cotton Road, Reidsville, NC.

Samuel was born in Rockingham County, NC on November 4, 1947 to the late Samuel and Annie Yancey Gwynn.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Bell Gwynn; son, Kevin Gwynn (Khali); daughter, Tonya Bell-Prince (Darryl); a host of relatives and friends.
