Obituary: NELSON MUTCHELL WOODALL

Mr. Nelson Mitchell Woodall, 88, of Eden passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. There will be no formal visitation.
Nelson was born in Henry County, Virginia on February 12, 1935, a son of Samuel George Woodall and Hallie Hankins Woodall, both deceased. He was a US Army veteran. He worked as a boiler operator at Henry County Plywood Company.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Wynne of Eden and his grandson, Scott Meeks of Eden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, Lucille Woodall; his sisters, Helen Macy, Bell Harmon and Ruth Payne; his brothers, Marvin Woodall and Robert Woodall; his grandson, James Meeks and his great grandson, Kevin Meeks.
