Mayodan Police Department News Release • September 13, 2023

(Mayodan, NC) – On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 00:51 hours, the Moayodan Police Department received a report of a Breaking/Entering and Child Abduction at 314 N 4th Avenue in Mayodan, North Carolina. Officers responded to the residence where they found one of the victims, Jasmine Allen, who had obvious signs of an assault. Ms. Allen told the officers that two females entered the residence through a window, assaulted her, and then abducted the son, Dallas Alyjah Berger. (B/M 11 Months Old) The suspects left the area in a silver colored 4 door passenger car.

The suspects were identified as Atiya Janelle Douglas (B/F 43 years old) and Kenya Shana Robinson (B/F 37 years old) Felony warrants were issued on both suspects for Breaking and Entering with Intent to Terrorize or Injure and occupant of a building.

This is an ongoing investigation.

An AMBER Alert has already been issued.
