Glenn Dwayne Sizemore, 53, passed away on May 27, 2025. Born on September 27, 1971, Glenn was a devoted husband, a proud and loving dad, a joyful papa, a loyal brother, son and a friend to many.
Glenn had a gift for connection. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and by the end of it; you’d feel like you’d known him for years. He’d give you the shirt off his back, lend a hand without being asked and show up when it mattered most. He was the kind of man you could always count on.
Family was at the center of Glenn’s world. He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Bo, who brought him endless joy. He was so excited to meet his granddaughter who is on the way. Whether he was sharing a laugh, helping with a project, grilling out or just sitting with loved ones or friends, Glenn made those everyday moments feel special.
He had a deep love for animals. His horses and dogs were truly part of the family, and he treated every creature he met with kindness. Glenn also had a passion for motorcycles, where he found peace and freedom on the open road.
Glenn leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love. He will be missed more than words can say, but his memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Melissa McClure Sizemore; daughter, Anna Sizemore Lynch (Brock); son, Cody Kindley (Linda); beloved grandson, Ambrose “Bo” Lynch and father, Johnny Sizemore. He is also survived by his brothers, Johnny “Jr.” Sizemore and Daryl Sizemore (Sherry), as well as several nieces and nephews who adored him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Chaney Sizemore.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
