Obituary: GAIL WARD SCOTT

Gail Ward Scott left her earthly life for her forever home on April 14, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in ward family cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. and all other times at the home.

Gail was born on February 23, 1949 to the late Ralph and Maude Ward. She was a devoted grandmother, mother, nurse, dog lover, and avid reader. Gails main focus in life was her family and making sure she spent as much time with them as possible.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Ward, Frankie Ward, Wayne Ward, Dean Ward.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Scott; daughter, Kelly Kramp (Tad); step-daughters, Bonnie Scott, Mandy Scott; grandchild, Lily Kramp; sister, Judy Gregory.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
