Eden Police Department News Release • May 21, 2025 • Lt. D. Stepps
(Eden, NC) – On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Officers with the Eden Police Department went to serve a warrant on Paul Wayne Rieson (52) for Habitual Felon. Eden Police Officers located Rieson at 1011 Irving Avenue. Subsequently, Detectives with the Eden Police Department secured a warrant on Rieson for the following:
•Fail to Register as a Sex Offender (Felony)
Rieson was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrates Office where the Magistrate issued Rieson a $80,000 secured bond. Paul Wayne Rieson is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on June, 2nd, 2025 at 9:00am.
