**UPDATE 6/21/22 – Charges for LEVANIEL NEVARIO KING were elevated this morning to First Degree Murder. He is being held in Rockingham County Jail with no bond. **
(Reidsville, NC) – On June 20, 2022, at approximately 12:26pm, Reidsville Police Department responded to the 2100 block of South Scales Street due to a shooting. Officers located Keith Clark (32) with multiple gunshot wounds. Clark was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Lavaniel Nevario King, (34) of Reidsville has been charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill. King was placed in Rockingham County Jail under a $750,000.00 secured bond.
