Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page announces his intent to run for NC LT. Governor on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Rockingham County GOP Headquarters on Piedmont Street in Reidsville, NC.

[Raleigh, N.C.] – At 10 a.m. this morning, longtime Sheriff of Rockingham County, North Carolina, Sam Page, made the announcement that he has established a campaign finance committee to begin campaigning for the office of Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina in the 2024 election.

Sheriff Sam Page has served as a law enforcement officer in North Carolina for more than 40 years. As of November 2022, Sam Page won his seventh Sheriff’s race in Rockingham County, N.C.

Sam Page is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving five years as a Security Police K-9 Handler before beginning his civilian law enforcement career. He is the 2010-2011 President and current Executive Committee member of the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association and has served for more than a decade as a member of the National Sheriff’s Association Border Security Committee.

“After much prayer and with the support of my wife, Kathy, and my family, today, I submitted my paperwork with the North Carolina Board of Elections to begin my campaign for the Office of Lieutenant Governor of The Great State of North Carolina,” said Sheriff Sam Page.

“I have dedicated my entire adult life to public service, and, as your next Lieutenant Governor, I pledge to continue protecting and serving the people of North Carolina.”
