Yvette Lily Nilsson, born on September 25, 1954, in Paris, France, peacefully passed away on February 21, 2024, in Madison, North Carolina. She was 69 years old.
Yvette dedicated 12 years of her life as a Truck Driver for Dogget Construction company, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to her profession. Outside of work, she found joy in gardening, playing bingo, and cherishing moments spent with her beloved grandchildren.
Yvette was a proud graduate of Garfield High School in Woodbridge, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Niles and Lily Nilsson, and her sister Yvonne Meska. She is survived by her loving husband, R. Spencer Southern, her daughter Lynette Simmons and son-in-law Eric Alonnso, along with her cherished grandchildren Emannuel Alonso and Emalyn Alonso. She is also survived by her brother Brian Nilsson and his wife Linda, and her sister Karin Filipp and her husband Kenny.
Arrangements are entrusted to Triad Cremation and Funeral Service. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
