Willie Joseph Page, AKA “Pudgy” 80, of Burlington passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Camp Springs Community Church with Pastor Darrell Massey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.

Willie was born in Caswell County to the late William Burch Page and Effie Matilda Allred Page. He graduated from Bartlett- Yancey High School and retired from Kayser-Roth after 55 years. He was a faithful member of the Davis & Davis Women’s Softball Team serving as a “bat dragger”. Willie was also a past member of the Cherry Grove Ruritan Club. He loved listening to oldies’ music and his cigars. He was a kindhearted man and willing to help whenever he could.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn P. Brown (Ernest) and Frances P. Gerringer (Hulon).

Willie is survived by his nephews, Rance Gerringer and Cloyd Brown; nieces, Cheryl Starr, Lisa Jones, DeAnn Brown, and Sharon Alvie; longtime friends, Randy Davis, Yvonne Saul, Karen Hall, Lenora Wrenn and Diane Mitchell as well as a loving group of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Springs Community Church 9166 Cherry Grove Road Reidsville, NC 27320 OR Alamance County Meals on Wheels at 411 West 5th Street Suite A, Burlington, NC 27215.
