Willie Arthur “Will” Watlington, formerly of Reidsville, died Monday, March 13, 2023.
He was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and a resident of California for the past 10 years. “Will”, as he was affectionately referred by family and friends, was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1966 and pursued further education at Rockingham Community College. “Will” was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former member of Rocky Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of the Veterans Administration.
His parents, Blanche Turner Watlington and Harry Watlington; two siblings, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: beloved children, Deatta Brown, Rodney Brown, Tony Brown and Damon Watlington; 5 grandchildren; sister, Dotsy Cobb (Bernard); other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by Johnson & Sons.
