William Samuel “Will” Parks, 38, of Eden, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday July 22, 2023 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 26, 2023 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew Brown and Dr. Chuck Hutchens officiating. Burial will be in Reidlawn Cemetery.
The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday July 25, 2023 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of his father Mike Parks 1821 South Park Dr. Reidsville, NC.
A native of Rockingham County, he was the son of Mike Parks and Deborah Bass Joyce and had lived most of his life in Rockingham County. He attended Reidsville Senior High School and was an honor graduate of Greensboro College. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and gardening. Will had a great personality and loved making people laugh. He was the former store manager of PG’s Chicken and Biscuits. Will was preceded in death by his: sister: Shannon P. Talbert, Paternal Grandfather: Pete Parks, and maternal great-grandmother: Kathryn Clark.
Survivors include his father: Mike Parks (Susie) of Reidsville, his mother: Deborah Bass Joyce (Tom) of Reidsville, special friend: Krissy Lovelace of Eden, paternal grandmother: Margaret Austin Parks (Earl Evans) of Reidsville, maternal grandmother: Kathryn Clark Stuby of Reidsville, and his canine companion: Thea.
