William Loyd Vernon, 29, of Rural Hall, departed this earthly life, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at home.
Born on May 4, 1994, in Forsyth County, to Timothy Loyd Vernon and Deinna Marie Mabe Pegram. William was employed with Southside Towing as a truck driver. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, William is survived by his fiancée, Abigail Goins; stepfather, Johnny Pegram, Jr; sons, Connor Vernon and Kolby Vernon; daughter, Oakley Vernon; brother, Wesley Cavender (Telly); sisters, Catherine Cavender (Travis) and Brittany Pegram (Elba) and a cousin Jessie Cottingham (LJ).
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
