

William “Bill” Lee Craddock, 81, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Mr. Craddock was born on December 8, 1943 in Kanawha County, West Virginia to the late Warren Harding Craddock and Louise Sybil Hudson Craddock. For thirty-four years, Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator in the coal mines of West Virginia. Outside of work, Bill had a passion for drag racing. He enjoyed everything associated with the sport, from the thrill of watching the races to being behind the wheel. His enthusiasm and love for the sport were infectious, as he often shared his passion with his beloved wife and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, John Wesley Samms.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Emma McCoy Craddock; daughter, Terry Lynn Craddock; son, Jerry Lee Craddock (Anita); grandchildren, Bret William Carrow, Ashleigh Tilley (Adam), Brandon Craddock (Summer), Corey Craddock (Delaney) and Matthew Craddock; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Grace Anna Housewright and Beverly Jean Pickens; half-brothers, David Allen Farley and Danny Ray Craddock; half-sister, Mary Elaine Farley and many extended family members and friends.
