William Andrew Webb, Sr., 89, passed away Saturday, September 23rd at his home in Stoneville, NC.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 29th at 1:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Overlook Cemetery.
William was born April 30, 1934 in Rockingham Co. to the late Frank Nesbit Webb and Sallie May Patterson Webb. He worked at Solite Rock Query for over 20 years. He also worked for Duke Power for 22 years. He loved to collect coins, mow his yard and work on classic cars. He especially loved spending time with his grand-daughter.
He is survived by his sons, William “Andrew” Webb, Jr. and Glenn Webb both of Stoneville, granddaughter, Kayla Grace Webb; brother’s, Danny Webb of Stoneville, Rev. Charles Webb of Greensboro; sisters Mary Fox of Danville, Patricia Walker of Stoneville.
Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Hodge Webb; sister’s Joan Evans, Revonda Jenkins, Janie Rierson; brothers Frank Webb and James Webb.
