

Watson Curtis Smith, 94, of Reidsville, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025, at his home.
Curtis was born in Rockingham County on May 8, 1930, a son of William Worth Smith and Martha Martin Smith, both deceased. He was a retired mechanic with the City of Reidsville. He was a jack of all trades, helping anyone who needed help. There was nothing that he could not fix. He enjoyed traveling and was a true family man. He loved his Lord and witnessed to everyone around him. He was a member of the Lord’s House of Prayer Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Ricky Smith and all his siblings.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred Wiles Smith of the home; his children, Karen S. Toler (Johnny), Diane S. Hollinghead (Donnie) and Teresa S. Garrett (Ricky), all of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Angie Garner (Julian), Kimberly Myers (Kevin), Derrick Hollinghead (Jessica), Richie Garrett, Curtis Hodge and Jason Hodge; and numerous great grandchildren.
