Obituary: VIRGINIA CHAMBERS

Virginia “Billie” McDaniel Chambers, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 18th at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 23rd, at 2:00pm in the Danview Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at Fair Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm.

Virginia was born May 9, 1928 to the late William J. McDaniel and Mary Betty Carter McDaniel in Rockingham County.

“Billie” as everyone knew her, worked for Karastan Mills as a General Technician. She loved her family and especially the grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her daughter’s, Wanda Nazelrod, of Eden, Kimberly Bowman of Ridgeway, VA, son’s Mark Chambers (Jaime) of Eden and Joey Chambers (Shania) of Conway, SC; three grandsons, Thorpe Smith (Debbie), Chris Smith and James Smith, many step-children, multiple grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Jesse Chambers and Hoyle Chambers, one daughter, Sandra Tuttle.
