Another soldier has come home. Vicki Fulcher Coleman, 57, departed this earthly life, after a courageous battle with cancer and COVID, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Sovah Health Hospital of Martinsville, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery, Ridgeway, Virginia. Vicki will lie instate for friends to come sign the register and view Saturday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel, Sandy Ridge, NC.
She was an active member of Smith Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as pianist and treasurer. Vicki loved her church family. She was a graduate of Drewery Mason High School and Patrick Henry Community College. She was a past member of the Henry County Civil Air Patrol. Vicki loved crafts, baking, and playing bingo.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Ross Fulcher and Clara Marie Williams Fulcher; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Lona Fulcher; grandparents, Peter Fred Williams and Annie Orilla Nance Williams; Eddie Euell Fulcher and Ruby Hubbard Fulcher and several uncles and aunts.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 28 years, Clyde Coleman, of Ridgeway, VA; brother, Eddie Fulcher (Ronda), of Sandy Ridge, NC; niece and nephew, Hope Fulcher (Susan) and Brian Fulcher (Lyndsey); great nephews and nieces, Alex Lawson, Kaylee and Ryleigh Fulcher, Arabella Gilbert, and Jerry Clark Fulcher; and many cousins.
