Vera Ann Gauldin Pruitt, 81, of King, NC formerly of Stoneville went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 8, 2023 at the Rose Tara plantation Assisted Living Facility in King, NC.
There will be no memorial services her cremains will be interred in Glenn’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Stoneville, NC at a later date.
A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ann Weadon Gauldin and had lived in Stoneville most of her life. She was a retired employee of Fieldcrest Mills and enjoyed cooking and fishing. Vera was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Pruitt, her sons: Jimmy Daryl Pruitt, Randy Lee Pruitt and Roger Dean Pruitt, her brothers; James Gauldin, Charles Gauldin, John Edward “Ed” Gauldin, Sam Gauldin, and Luke Gauldin, and a sister: Savannah Worley.
She was survived by her daughter: Roseanna P. Trent (Todd) of Reidsville, sister: Dora G. Sipe of Greensboro, special friend: Floyd Joyce of Stoneville, and grandchildren: Justin and Jordan Pruitt
