TSGT. Tony Lee Dunlap, USAF (RET), 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.. The family will receive friends all other times at the home of James and Wanda Dunlap at 1050 Chow LN, Madison North Carolina, 27025.
Mr. Dunlap was born on June 19, 1949 in Guilford County to the late Calvin Coolidge Dunlap and Branson Hopper Fowler. He loved woodworking, camping, computer work and was a jack of all trades. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he was proud to obtain the rank of Tech Sergeant.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Calvin Dunlap; sister, Connie Dunlap Hill; and step-father William J. ‘WJ’ Fowler.
Tony is survived by his son, Jason Dunlap and wife, Jessica; brother, James Dunlap and wife, Wanda; sister, Penny Hanna and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Alyssa Kirby, and Braxton Dunlap.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Funeral Home 127 Ellisboro Road, Madison, NC 27025, to assist the family with expenses.
