Mr. Terry Lynn Loman, 65, of Eden, passed away on May 28, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Charity Baptist Church with Dr. Roland Shepley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Terry was born on December 4, 1957 in Greensboro to the late Robert and Ruby Loman. Along with his birth parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Loman and his foster father, Lexi Stanley.
Terry is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Roach Loman of the home and her children; his children, Tiffany Stanley (Terry) of Greensboro and Terry Lynn Loman, Jr. (Diane) also of Greensboro; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Kathy Loman of Lumberton; brothers, Randy Loman (Cindy) of Evansville, Indiana and Donald Loman (Tracie) of Reidsville; foster mother, Dee Stanley of Stokesdale and her children; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Terry enjoyed working as a contractor and could do just about anything. He loved to watch sports, but really enjoyed watching and playing golf, and always rooted for his Washington Redskins. He loved classic movies and TV shows, like The Andy Griffith Show, westerns, and anything Clint Eastwood. He loved to spend time with his Grandchildren and would do anything to get a laugh out of them. For a short spoken man, his words were well thought and always with intent.
He was a simple man, who loved to dress nice and look good! We will miss his heart, helping hand, and desire to make everyone happy.
