Teresa Lee “Jane” Stevens, 60, passed away at her home on Sunday July 14, 2024.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Madison. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at the home.

Teresa was born on April 25, 1964 to the late Raleigh P. Stevens, Sr. and Nannie Pearl McBride Stevens. She loved being outdoors with her animals and tending to her plants. Teresa will be remembered for her goofy sense of humor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Stevens.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Maxine Merriman (Philip); brothers, Arnold “Tiny” Stevens, Raleigh P. Stevens, Jr., Floyd Andrew Stevens; special friend, Tanya Dickerson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stokes or Rockingham County Animal Shelter.

Colonial Funeral Home of Madison is serving the family.
