Tara Michelle Chilton Handy, 48, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of Pauline Shook and the late Frank Chilton, Jr. and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life. She was a caregiver, a loving daughter and she was preceded in death by her brother: Frank Chilton III and a sister: Kathy Clark.
She is survived by her mother: Pauline Shook of Reidsville, a son: Morgan Handy of Reidsville, a brother: Ricky Chilton of Eden and a sister: Vicky Chilton of Eden.
Citty Funeral Home is assisting the Handy family.
