Tammy Sherrie Wray, 54, left this earthly life Monday, December 26, 2022, at home.

     A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel, 1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, N.C. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

     Tammy was born August 15, 1968, in Franklin County, Virginia. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School. Tammy was a loving mother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed scrap- booking, and cross stitching. She was a friend to many, loved whole heartedly, and had a heart of gold.

     She was preceded in death by parents, Gary Wayne Wray and Joan Carroll Bowling Watkins; grandparents, Emmett Bowling and Angie Williams Bowling; uncles, Roger, Richard, and Dewey Bowling, and her special canine companion, Gizmo.

     Tammy is survived by her daughter, Brittany Gray; sisters, Carol Hill and Jennifer Barnes; stepfather, Keith Watkins; nephews and niece, Austin Hill, Caleb and Kaylee Keith; uncle, Donnie Bowling (Barbara); aunts, Iris Hundley and Shirley (Tommy) Edwards.

     Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
