Obituary: SUSAN SHARPE CORUM

Susan Sharpe Corum, 58, of Eden passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.

Susan was born in Greensboro on January 9, 1964 a daughter of Kenneth Leon Sharpe and Phyllis Coe Coltrane. She worked as a waitress at the Circle Drive-in in Eden.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Randy” Corum of the home; her daughter, Ashley Corum of Eden; her mother, Phyllis Coe Coltrane of Eden; her sisters, Diane Woods and husband, Richie of Eden, Lorie Younger and husband, Jerry of Stoneville, Kathy Stratton and husband, Jerry of Eden and Donna Swift and husband, Jamie of Eden; her sister-in-law, Lisa Bowman of Eden; her brothers-in-law, Darrell Corum and wife, Lisa of Mooresville, NC and Roger Corum of Eden; her grandchildren, Kinley, Kyler, Kaelyn, Karrina and Kaya; her aunt, Nancy Stanley of Greensboro; Her special Friends, Joyce Hilbert of Eden and Boodie and Angela Lovelace of Greensboro and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Susan was predeceased in death by her father, Kenneth Leon Sharpe; her stepfather, Tommy Coltrane: her aunt, Vivian Cameron; her nephew, Kenny Shockley and her cousin, Buddy Wayne Morris.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times as the residence.
