Obituary: SUSAN HARRISON BULLOCK

Susan Harrison Bullock of Colfax formerly of Reidsville, died on Wednesday March 29 after an 8-month battle with glioblastoma.

She was born in High Point, NC, the daughter of the late Claude R. “Tut” & Jean Davis Harrison. She graduated from High Point Central High School and attended High Point College and Davidson Community College. She was employed for over 30 years in the Greensboro Sales & Service office of Hewlett-Packard and later Agilent Technologies.

Survivors include her husband, John A. Bullock III of the home, a daughter, Cameron Wofford Williford (Allen) and granddaughter, Ryan Williford of Raleigh, and one grandson, Nicholas Wofford and his mother, Alexandra Lindsey Wofford, of Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen B. Wofford, and her grandson, Chad Williford.

Susan was a member and former Regent of the William Bethell Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and attended St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Reidsville where she enjoyed a variety of needle crafts with the Stitches of Love yarn ministry and she also crafted many hand-made quilts. She also enjoyed counted cross stitch and spent many hours researching her Harrison, Davis & Ham families.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 4, 2023 at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 315 Lindsey St., Reidsville. There will be a reception at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, The Museum & Archives of Rockingham County (MARC) (1086 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320), or the High Point Museum (1859 E Lexington Ave, High Point, NC 27262).
