Obituary: SUE WHITE CARTER MORETZ

Sue White Carter Moretz, 90, of Eden passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Gibson House, Ancora Compassionate Care.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 from 5-7pm at Fair Funeral Home.
Sue was born December 5, 1933 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Carl Houston Carter and Ollie Perdue Carter. She was a Charter Member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Sue worked as an assistant in patient care at The Bayberry Retirement Home for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Susan Moretz Watkins and husband David of Eden, and Christopher Lee Moretz of the home; grandchildren, Carter Watkins and Abigail Watkins; sisters-in-law, Donna Carter and Judy Carter.
In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her brother, Ray Carter and wife, Maggie; brother, Artis Carter and wife, Nancy Ann; sister, Doris Carter; sister, Eunice C. Zimmerman and husband, Calvin; brother, Norman Carter; sister, Nancy Jo Carter; brother, Edgar Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Ancora Compassionate Care (formerly Hospice of Rockingham County), PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
