Sue Earles Dickerson, 77, of Reidsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 8, 1947, Sue was known for her kindness, her loving spirit, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She lived a full life, marked by the love she gave, the memories she created, and her passion for travel. Sue was an avid traveler, always eager to explore new places and experience the world with those she loved.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbert Dickerson; her father, Dr. Loyd Earles; her mother, Nannie Kate Pruitt Earles; her daughter, Natalie Dickerson; and her siblings, Mabel Kendall, Jean Gibson, Nancy Gregory, and Virginia Litman.
She is survived by her sister; Linda Maxwell; her brother; Loyd Earles; her son, Dwayne Dickerson and wife Nancy; her grandsons, Jacob Dickerson and wife Tiffany, Dawson Dickerson, John Ratliff and wife Ragan, and Daniel Dickerson; her great-granddaughter, Jillian Dickerson; and her great-grandson, Jonathan Dickerson; as well as her “like a sister” Nancy Willard and her “like grandchildren” Alli and Emma Coleman. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity or cause of your choice in memory of Sue.
Sue’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
