Stephen Lloyd Graves departed this life on Friday, September 15, 2023.

He was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and a resident of Guilford County for the past 15 years. Stephen attended the local public schools and was a former member of Rocky Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was previously employed by the Campalst Corporation. During his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter and family. Being an avid sportsman with a penchant for football and basketball, he was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and UNC Tarheels fan.

His brother, Phillip Graves; special aunt, Judy Willie Mae Graves, preceded him in death.

Survivors are: loving daughter, Angelina Graves; beloved parents, Gail Denise Graves (Rodney) and David Williamson (Toleather); grandparents, Shirley Blackwell Graves and Ernest Graves, Sr., Annie and Junior Neal, William David Parker, Sr.; sisters, Tanisha Williamson, Camille Mc Collum (Terrence) and Ashley Hairston; brothers, Shaun Graves, Maurice Graves, Omar Graves, Quinton Herbin (Dena) and David Williamson, Jr.; aunts, Annette Graves Barley, Lavania Hairston (Harry), Lori Neal (Dallas), Judy Robinson (Michael) and Joyce Parker; uncles, James Graves (Rev. Evelyn), Ernest Graves, Jr. (Goldie), William Parker, Jr. (Tee) and Clyde Neal, Jr.; great-aunts, Sarah Perkins (Willard) and Loretta Graves; great-uncles, Samuel Blackwell (Lena) and Thomas Graves; devoted cousin, Diane Perkins (Stanley); special friends, Brianna Wright, Lonnie Franklin, A. C., Tim Settle, Jimmy Richardson, Mike, Kenyatta, Matt, Khama Sakon and Koren Martin; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 from the Rocky Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 1694 Highway 158 East with Pastor Troy Wallace presiding. The family visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street.
