Obituary: SHERRY LEIGH SAMS

Sherry Leigh Sands Sams, 61, born November 14, 1962, in Stokes County, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes.
She was employed with Forsyth County DSS as a Medicaid Specialist. Sherry was a devoted wife, mother and Grammy who had a special bond with her granddaughters. She was loved by everyone who met her. She enjoyed her beach trips, and noted for making the BEST biscuits.
She was preceded in death by her father, Doris Eugene Sands and two sisters, Wanda Mabe and Vickie Sands.
She is survived by her mother, Viginia Tilley Sands, husband, loving husband, Randy Sams; son, Matthew Sams (Melody); daughter, Brittany Wilson (Timmy); granddaughters, Annalise, Sophia, Ava and Johanna. Precious family members, Betty Simmons, Robin, Simmons, Ricky and Lisa Sams, Uncle Bernie and Gene Sands, and extended family including many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
The family extends their appreciate to the staff at LifeBrite Community Hospital for their attentive care.
