Sheila Ann Mabe, 61, left her earthly home Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Lawsonville Baptist Church and other times at the residence. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the church followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Sheila was born on November 30, 1961, in Stokes County, to the late Clarence “Doc” Mabe and Betty Jane Joyce Mabe. She was a faithful member of Lawsonville Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and being involved in all the special activities. She loved the Lord and her church family.
Some of Sheila’s accomplishments included finishing school in Walnut Cove for special needs children, attending Stokes Opportunity Center where she became a Star Catcher, trip to Washington, DC, attending the prom, and her many trips with her parents.
Sheila loved her family with all her heart, especially her brother Randy Dean Mabe; her two sisters, Hilda Mabe Morton and Linda Mabe Johnson; her kitties Cindy and Buddy. She loved her horse, Angel for 23 years. Sheila was the apple of her family’s eye, especially her papa Jess.
If you knew Sheila, you loved her. She was a true blessing to all.
Appreciation is extended to Mountain Valley Hospice for Sheila’s end of life care.
