Serenity McKayla East, 20, of Eden passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
Serenity was born June 28, 2004 in Rockingham County, NC, to Shawn Steven East and Mattie Carter Brown. She worked at Eastside Home Improvements as a cleaner. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her mother, Mattie Carter Brown; brothers, Jeffrey Seals (Cierra) of Eden, Zachary Pulliam of Eden, Shawn Steven East, II (Amanda) of Eden, Jacob Timothy East (Maddie) of South Dakota; sister, Brittany Pope (Justin) of Ridgeway, VA; special uncles, Chris East of Eden and Ronald East, Jr. of Eden; aunt, Heather Felder (Korey) of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews; grandparents, Mary Brannock of Eden, Peggy Thacker (Kenny) of Eden, Ronald East of Eden.
Serenity is preceded in death by her father, Shawn Steven East, and brother, Roger Lee Seals, III.
