Sarah Lauren Roberts, 35, of Mayodan, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her home.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
Lauren was born in Guilford County on August 7, 1989, to Morgan Roberts (Sharron) and Barbara Haizlip. She graduated from South Stokes High School and then went to Rockingham Community College where she earned her Cosmetology License. She worked as a Cosmetologist for many years, enjoying doing hair and nails. She also obtained many other licenses including becoming a notary. Lauren was a hands-on person, enjoying crafts, making decals, and helping others with their taxes. She was a loving mother to her two children and will be dearly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Woods.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her children, Sydney Morgan Roberts and Addison Sophia Tompkins; her grandmothers, Yvonne Landreth and Dawn Richie; her brothers, David Roberts, Daniel Roberts, and Zane Woods; her uncle, Stewart Roberts and wife Patti; and special nephew, Waylon.
