Sarah Inez Parrish Taylor, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Inez was born on December 14, 1935 to the late Phillip and Lucy Parrish. Known for her unwavering love for people, Inez dedicated her life to helping others and spreading kindness wherever she went. Her home was always a haven of neatness and warmth, reflecting her meticulous nature and loving spirit.
A devoted Christian, Inez’s faith was evident in her daily actions and interactions. She cherished her family deeply, always putting her children and husband at the center of her world.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Lee Parrish.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Leroy Taylor; children, Teresa Robbins (Jimmy) and Timmy Taylor; sister, Mamie Brantley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beaver Island Baptist Church.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
