Sarah Craven Carter, 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at her residence in Eden.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 1:00PM in the First Church of the Brethren in Eden, NC. Visitation for Sarah will be held Tuesday, September 6th at Fair Funeral Home from 5-7PM. Burial will follow the service in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Sarah was born May 3, 1945 to the late Jacob Yancy Craven and Beulah Mae Younts Craven in Guildford Co. She attended the First Church of the Brethren. Sarah worked as a Supervisor at Fieldcrest Mills in Eden, NC.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Warren Carter, Jr.; children, Cheryl (Randy Boyd) Purdy of Eden, Mike (Wendy) Carter of Eden and Warren “Whistle” (Lynn) Carter of Eden; grandchildren, Cody Purdy, Lyndzie Boyd, Daniel Carter, Brandon Carter, Chris Carter and Ashly Gibson; great grandchildren, Nicole, Piper, Glennis, Sophie, Braxton and Levi; great great granddaughter, Paisley; one brother, Jacob (Jean) Craven of Eden.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, James Craven; 2 sisters, Mary and LaDena.
