Sara Manring Sizemore entered into her eternal rest Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the age of 81. Sara was born in Stokes County and lived in the Pine Hall area all of her life. Sara was born March 3, 1944 to Buford Bailey Manring and Nancy Jane Rominger Manring.

Sara was a true Christian and of the Baptist faith. She loved gospel music as well as sixties music. Sara was the rock of her family. Sara was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was always willing to sacrifice her needs to help her family and others. She was employed in the textile industry for Burlington Industries where she was in management. She loved traveling and when at home you could find her gardening in her flowers, vegetables or canning the vegetables produced in her garden.
Sara was preceded in death by her son, Thomas (Tommy) Sizemore, Jr. and siblings; Thelma Hicks, Nancy (Aleine) Moore, Ida Sizemore and J.B. Manring and husband, Thomas Wayne Sizemore.

She is survived by daughters, Tracey Sizemore and Tammy Alley (Todd) and sister Linda Manring. Sara is survived by four grandchildren; Chris Sizemore (Allie), Cody Sisk (Lyndsey), Hunter Alley and Chad Sisk. Her surviving great-grandchildren are Brycen, Bayli, Ryder, Dawsyn, Emersyn and Rhyett; including many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Countryside Manor, Stokesdale as well as North Pointe of Mayodan for the loving care extended to their mother during her stay there.

Visitation for Mrs. Sizemore will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison, N.C. and other times at the home of Tracey Sizemore. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Mark Smith. Burial will be at Knollhurst Memorial Gardens in Madison, N.C.
