Obituary: SARA LYNN HOPPER

Sara Lynn Hopper, 76, passed away Saturday, May 24th at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden at **2:00 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Reidsville.

Sara was born May 15, 1949 in Rockingham County, NC. She graduated from Ruffin High School. She worked at American Tobacco Company as a Line Operator. She was passionate about horses, hats, and birds. She loved riding her tractor and also enjoyed flashy and fuzzy things. Sara enjoyed having a good time with family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Craig Strader (Pam); brothers, Marshall Ratliff (Cheryl) and Ernie Ratliff; grandchildren, Craig “CJ” Strader, Jr. and Garrett Strader; along with many nieces and nephews.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Bernie Ratliff and Dennis Ratliff.

The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to the staff at Silver Treasures Senior Living, formerly Bayberry Retirement Inn, and to those at Ancora Compassionate Care for their care and devotion to Sara during her time there.
