Sandra Shields Terrell, 76, of 8441 Old US Hwy 29, went home to be with The Lord Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2022, at Promise Baptist Church with Pastor David Bray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at 400 Link Road, Reidsville (Robin and Gerald’s home).
Sandra was born in Danville, VA and was the daughter of the late Roy and Jean Shields. She was a member of Promise Baptist Church and served faithfully as a minister’s wife for over 48 years. She retired from Fieldcrest/Cannon with over 16 years of service. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she looked forward to that season year after year. She loved music, singing, crocheting and her dachshund, Blackie.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Terrell; daughter Robin Durham and husband Gerald; brother Alex Shields and wife Diane; grandchildren Cameron Durham and Kristie Beny and husband Alan; and great granddaughter Evryn Beny.
