Ms. Sandra Kay King Caldwell departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
As a native and lifelong resident of Guilford County, North Carolina, she attended the local public schools and was a formerly employed as a licensed cosmetologist.
Her parents, Margaret Ann King Shoffner and June Cannon; beloved husband, Jerry Caldwell; son, Jernado Caldwell; a grandson, Michael Wright, Jr. and a brother, Orlando King, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: a devoted daughter, Sherwanna Wright; grandchildren, Quran Caldwell, Milik Wright, Kiara Caldwell and Jalen Wright; great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Samir, Nadia and Karmen; brother, Bud Lewis (Kathy); a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 from the Jesus Is The Answer For Holy Ghost Tabernacle, 5723 Eckerson Road. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 until 2:30 p.m. at the church. Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Callands Funeral Home, Yanceyville Street from 3 until 6 p.m.
