Sandra Crews Vaughn, 90, passed into the presence of her Savior on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Gibson House Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Woodland Cemetery with Reverend Scott Winters officiating.

Mrs. Vaughn was born on October 26, 1932 in Hillsborough County, Florida. Sandra was a member of Ellisboro Baptist Church and a fifty year member of the Eastern Star. She was always involved in the many activities with her children from Girl Scouts, to Rainbow Girls, to school marching band activities. She will be remembered for not sparing the rod and keeping her family in line. Her loving nature and the fond memories will forever be cherished by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ona Crews Little and Cecil Crews; husband, Zebulon Malachi Vaughn and brothers, Roger Crews, Walter Crews, Forrest Little and William Little.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Roan (Arlan), Mala Simonelli (Dominic) and Tamra Cranston (Robert); grandchildren, Alan Letcher (Teresa), Jennifer Coleman (Jay), Sheri Williams (Whitney), Victoria Deal (Chris), Malachi Cranston Vaughn (Morgan) and Haley Cranston; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Coleman, Savannah Coleman, Amelia Williams, Maverick Williams, Koda Deal and Elia Vaughn; nephews, Christopher Crews and Colin Crews; nieces, Kathy Remke, Paula Tonelli, Kay Scott, Linda Perkins and Brenda West; cousin, Tricia Perkins and a host of other cousins and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
