Obituary: RUBY ANN JOHNSON BOUSMAN

Ruby Ann Johnson Bousman, 91, of Eden passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, March 24, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will follow at Dan View Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Ruby Ann was born July 1, 1931 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Thomas P. Johnson and Ruby Turner Johnson. Ruby Ann spent her early years in Draper Baptist Church where she played piano. She later became a member of Spray Baptist Church. She worked as a secretary at Fieldcrest Mills – General Office until her retirement in 1991 after 28 years of service. Ruby Ann enjoyed sewing and watching Atlanta Braves Baseball. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Henry M. Bousman, Jr. of Eden, NC, Michael Bousman (Laura) of Virginia Beach, VA, Lynn B. Stone (Tim) of Reidsville, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan Bousman of Walnut Cove, NC, Andy Bousman of Kernersville, NC, Jason Shelton of Wentworth, NC, Matthew Bousman of Virginia Beach, VA, Zachary Bousman of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchildren, Callie Shelton, Cole Shelton; aunt, Naomi Johnson of Eden, NC; sister-in-law, Nancy Breckinridge of Naples, FL; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruby Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Murray Bousman, Sr., and their infant daughter.
