Rosie Lee Bullins McHone “Granny Mac”, 95, departed this earthly life, Friday, February 3, 2023, at North Pointe of Mayodan.

   The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McHone was born July 23, 1927, to the late Odell Bullins and Mahala Collins East. She was raised by her grandparents Mody and Sarah Elizabeth Bullins. She was a member of Lawsonville Church of God and attended Grace Baptist Church for several years. Rosie was retired from the former Madison Throwing Plant with more than 25 years of service. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

   In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by the father of her children, Calvin McHone; brothers, Clarence and Rufus East; and sister, Catherine Jessie.

   Survivors include two sons, O’Neal McHone (Lucy) and Jonathan McHone (Jennifer); a daughter, Marie Collins (Andy); sisters, Novella Rogers, Linda Smith (Gurney), and Alpha Jean Woods; grandchildren, Richard Landreth (Alicia), Julie Wiles (Dennis), Shannon Bullins (Marty), Amber Joyce (Travis), Samuel McHone (Charlie), and Hannah Burgess (Stanley); great-grandchildren, Chance Landreth, Sarah Bullins, Taylor Landreth, Kelsey Joyce, Cameron Bullins, and Eli McHone.

   Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
