Rosario Lopez Vasquez, the beloved husband of Delores Morehead Vasquez, departed this life on Monday evening, May 9, 2023.
He was a native of Mexico and a resident of North Carolina for the majority of his life. Rosario was a retiree of the Equity Corporation. During his leisure, he enjoyed fishing and socializing.
His brothers, Ricardo Lopez and Alberto Jose Lopez Vazquez, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: beloved wife of 10 years, Delores Morehead Vazquez; step-children, Timothy Lee Broadnax and Meyia Lashae Hill; 3 grandchildren; beloved parents, Juan Ruiz Vazquez and Guadalupe Cervantes Lopez; sisters, Maria Esperanza Lopez Vazquez, Oralia Alma Lopez Vazquez, Ector Lopez Vazquez and Irene Juana Lopez Vazquez; brother, Cesar Guadalupe Vazquez and Alonso Jesus Lopez Vazquez; niece, Lucia Vazquez; nephews, Hector Castro Vazquez and Jose Rosario Chaparro Vazquez; father-in-law, Willie Morehead; sisters-in-law, Sandra Rena Graves and Patricia Ann Morehead; brother-in-law, Roger Dale Morehead (Latoya); other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street with Pastor Donnie Johnson presiding. Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Johnson & Sons.
