Obituary: RONNIE “RON” WAYNE HARDISON

Ronnie Wayne Hardison, 53, of Eden, NC passed away Wednesday May 22nd, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital around 1:10 in the afternoon.

A visitation service will be held at 5 P.M. at Comers Chapel Baptist Church, 1990 Bald Hill Loop Road, Madison NC, where Ron was a member. A service of remembrance will follow at 6:00.

Ronnie was born on October 11, 1970 in Washington, NC to Lemuel Hardison and his late mother Faye Baldock-Hardison. He moved to Winston-Salem when he was just 3 years old, where he would later graduate from Reynolds High School. Furthering his education, Ronnie went on to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, then obtained a Masters in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ronnie would find himself on graduation day amongst his Magna Cum Laude peers and achieve his CPA licensure on the first attempt. Post graduation Ronnie worked for firms such as Deloitte of Raleigh, Benard Robinson of Greensboro, and smaller firms in Eden, North Carolina.

Around the summer of 2016, Ronnie suffered a stroke and his health had been in a failing state since. Surviving are his father, Lemuel Hardison (stepmother Marilyn), his two children Devon Hardison (partner, Danielle Canter and grandchildren, Henry and Madelyn), Jackson Hardison and his former spouse Cindi Webster-Hardison. In addition, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Hardison, and twin brother Onnie Hardison.

Arrangements are entrusted to Triad Cremation and Funeral.
