Ronald Ray Wilson, 58, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at home after a brief battle with cancer.
Ronnie was born in Forsyth County on May 6, 1966. He was a Stokes County resident. Ronnie was Valedictorian of his 1984 graduation class. He was employed at Dan River Restaurant for 20 years as head cook. He was very gifted, creative and artistic. Ronnie loved flowers, was very active. He will most definitely be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers JaVan Wilson, Gabe Willard, John Willard, Mark Willard, and two sisters, Barbara Dalton and Margaret Quesinberry.
Survivors include brothers, Junior Wilson (Teresa), David Wilson, Daniel Wilson, and Randy Willard (Tammy), and sisters Betty Poff (Clinton) and Carolyn Richardson (Buster), and numerous nieces and nephews, and a very special great-niece, Emily Wilson.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Darlene Dill, who was Ronnie’s employer, and Trellis Supportive Care, for his final wishes and end of life care.
Memorials may be made to Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel to assist with final expenses.
