Ronald “Ronny” James Price, 53, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home.
A 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at The Refuge in Mayodan with Pastor Donovan Furstenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home.
Ronny was born in Dallas, Texas on September 1, 1970, to the late Cecil and Barbara Moore Price. He was an active member of the Refuge Church in Mayodan and worked for Honda Jet for 10 years. Ronny had his private pilot license and loved flying and working on airplanes. He also loved people, had a great sense of humor, and was kind to anyone he met. Ronny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Smith Price of the home; his daughter, Savannah Price (Nick Greco) of Chapel Hill; his brother, Ralph “Buddy” Price (Berenice) of Eden; and his sister, Alisa Price (Casey) of Eden.
